• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an ovals.
• Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Above it, draw 1 line equal to 2/3 height of the head.
• Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 8 more lines equal to the height of the head plus 1 line equal to 2/3 height of the head.
• Separate the head with a vertical line. From this line draw the sides:
-on the left, 7 lines equal to the width of the head plus one line equal 1/5 the width of the head;
-on the right, 4 line equal to the width of the head.

Draw auxiliary lines and an oval for the torso silhouette.

Step 2

Add elements for the wanderer's leg and the rock below it. Erase any excess auxiliary lines.

Step 3

Draw lines for the arms and circles for the shoulders. Add feet to the legs.

Step 4

Draw the coat and erase the auxiliary lines.

Step 5

Draw the wanderer's trousers and collar. Draw the ears peeking out slightly.

Step 6

Correct the shape of the rock. Detail the hair and the fennel. Draw a cane in the hand.

Step 7

Detail the coat with folds. Draw the curves on the rock.

Step 8

Enhance the drawing. Add details on the clothes and the rock.

Step 9

Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour wanderer, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.

Step 10

Colour in the picture and bring it to life. Enjoy your drawing.
