How to draw a hummingbird flying

Step 1

Mark off the width and height of the hummingbird. Add guidelines for its wings, body and tail.

Step 2

Mark the size of the head and body. Outline the general shape of the wing. Add tail feathers.

Step 3

Delineate an oval for the head and a bigger one for the body. Add a triangle-like bill and a circle for the eye of the hummingbird.

Step 4

Draw some feathers and the mouth.

Step 5

Contour the hummingbird. Outline more carefully the eye and feathers.
